AIL Español Participates in Praguele VII: Innovation and Digital Storytelling in ELE Teaching
On April 18th, AIL Español proudly participated in Praguele VII, the international conference for teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language held at the prestigious Charles University in Prague.
This important educational event brought together more than 90 ELE teachers from the Czech Republic and other parts of the world with the shared goal of exchanging experiences, reflecting on teaching practices, and continuing to grow professionally as educators.
Digital Narratives and Hispanic Culture in the ELE Classroom
As part of the conference program, our teacher María del Olmo led the workshop:
“Narratives and Digital Media for Teaching Hispanic Culture in the ELE Classroom” 📚💻
The session explored how digital tools can be used to create engaging stories that combine language learning, Hispanic culture, and digital competence development in Spanish language education.
Through a highly practical and interactive approach, participants discovered innovative ways to bring creativity and technology into their classrooms.
Practical Digital Tools for Innovative Language Teaching
🛠️ During the workshop, attendees worked with tools such as:
Book Creator
Pixton
Soundtrap
Gartic Phone
These activities allowed teachers to explore educational proposals that encourage:
✔️ Creativity
✔️ Critical thinking
✔️ Collaborative learning
✔️ Student engagement in the ELE classroom
The workshop provided practical ideas and ready-to-use resources that teachers could immediately apply in their own Spanish lessons.

Dynamic Spanish Classes in Prague
In addition to participating in the conference, María del Olmo also spent several days teaching Spanish classes to students in Prague through dynamic, interactive, and fun learning experiences that were a complete success.
Because teaching Spanish is not only about language learning — it is also about building bridges between generations, cultures, contexts, and new ways of communicating.
Strengthening International Collaboration in ELE Education
At AIL Español, we are committed to promoting innovative methodologies, teacher training, and international collaboration in Spanish language education.
Participating in events such as Praguele VII allows us to continue learning from educators around the world, share best practices, and contribute to the future of ELE teaching through creativity, technology, and cultural exchange.
✨ Thank you to everyone who was part of this inspiring experience.
