AIL Español: A high-quality Spanish language school

Our Mission

Since the beginning, AIL Español has had one main objective: to offer a quality education to all its students. We want you to find a pleasant and friendly environment in our school where you can make the most of your stay in Spain, both academically and personally.

How We Do It

To achieve this, AIL Español provides a comprehensive program that brings Spanish language and culture to all those who join us. The quality of our teaching and administrative staff, the variety of courses and activities, and the positive experiences of our students are the best guarantee to achieve your goals.

Our Focus

For the AIL Español team, the most important thing is to start with your communication needs and respond to them. At the same time, we support and motivate you in your learning journey.

We place a strong emphasis on communication, but we don’t neglect grammar. We explain it inductively or deductively depending on the level and characteristics of the group. This doesn’t mean we don’t have a uniform approach, but rather that we adapt the methods slightly to your needs.

Our Curriculum

To offer you the most homogeneous teaching plan possible, you will use a reference book that we always supplement with other materials chosen by our teachers based on their experience.

Our main objective is for you to be able to communicate in Spanish. To achieve this, we work on all the skills in class and reinforce them with sociocultural content both inside and outside the classroom. We focus on developing the four fundamental language skills:

1. Listening comprehension: The ability to understand spoken Spanish in different contexts, from various speakers, and at varying speeds. This is practiced through exposure to conversations, songs, interviews, and other auditory materials.

2. Reading comprehension: The skill of understanding and processing written texts in Spanish, whether they are articles, books, emails, or messages. We foster this through the reading of a variety of genres and topics.

3. Speaking: The ability to speak Spanish clearly and effectively, participating in conversations, debates, presentations, and other oral activities. This is practiced through interactive activities, dialogues, and class presentations.

4. Writing: The skill of writing correctly in Spanish, from sentences and paragraphs to longer texts such as essays and letters. This is developed through writing exercises, text correction, and creative writing.

By working on these skills, we ensure a comprehensive approach to learning Spanish. Additionally, we reinforce these skills with sociocultural content, both inside and outside the classroom. This includes activities such as visits to places of interest, participation in cultural events, and other immersive experiences that help contextualize and apply what you have learned in real-life situations.

Extracurricular Activities

Many of our students are in Spain, which promotes a faster immersion in the language. In our schools, we offer a wide range of in-person extracurricular activities every afternoon. These activities are a fantastic way to immerse yourself in the local culture, practice your Spanish, and meet new people.

Levels

Taking into account the above and the MCER levels, you can progress from A1 to C2 or directly join at your current level.
