Alejandro Sanz was born in Madrid on December 18, 1968, and from a very young age was surrounded by flamenco music thanks to the influence of his father, who was a musician. Although born in Madrid, much of his childhood was linked to Andalusia, especially Cádiz and Algeciras, places that profoundly shaped his musical style. From childhood, he showed great interest in the guitar and songwriting, standing out for his creativity and artistic sensitivity. His career officially began in 1989, but he achieved international fame with the album Viviendo deprisa in 1991. He subsequently released highly successful albums such as Más, El alma al aire, and No es lo mismo. The album Más was one of the best-selling albums in Spanish history. Thanks to songs like Corazón Partío, Alejandro Sanz has gained worldwide recognition and continues to be a leading figure in contemporary Latin music.
