On my 13th week of semi-intensive group lessons with AIL. As I always like to have a little challenge to accelerate my progress, and also had a clear DELE goal in mind, I ventured out into private lessons in addition to group. If I could afford private lessons, I’d always prefer it over group. The advantages are countless, you book lessons at a time that works for you, set your own learning pace, get full attention and instant feedback from the professor, and as someone who has a clear goal to achieve in a short time—getting a customized lesson plan. My professor is Carlos, and he is easily one of the best I’ve ever had 😊 (I’ve been learning foreign languages for over a decade) As a DELE examinador himself, he is really professional and informative, sharing an outline on test-taking tips—how to manage your time, obtain a high score, essential grammar points and conjunctions to include, things to avoid, etc. Furthermore, as a foreign language instructor, he has great enunciation, lesson planning, patience, explains grammar points very well, and his enthusiasm in teaching simply shines through. So glad I chose to take private lessons and definitely got a great bang for my buck! ☺️ Last but not least, my coordinators are Diego and Silvia, and like the rest of the team, they are really responsive, flexible in scheduling classes, and are always ready to help!
