This activity involves observing the poster for the 2026 San Isidro Festival and working on vocabulary related to this traditional celebration. Using the image, students should identify words related to food, typical clothing, music, locations, festive activities, and representative figures or symbols. After observing the poster, they will reflect on the language used: which word is most interesting and why, which terms they already knew and which are new. They will also be invited to imagine the atmosphere of the festival and what happens during the celebration. Finally, they will write three simple sentences to express their observations and feelings: “On the poster I see…”, “In San Isidro, the people…”, and “It seems like a festival…”. This activity promotes comprehension, oral and written expression, and the learning of cultural vocabulary in a fun and meaningful way in the special education classroom.
