Song activity for personal and conditional information

The activity “Tell Me,” based on the song by Alejandro Sanz and adapted by Beatriz Monge, aims to develop listening comprehension and oral interaction in Spanish through questions related to personal information, emotions, and human relationships. By listening to and analyzing the song, students identify common questions used in everyday conversations, as well as recognize and practice conditional structures such as “What would you buy?” or “Would you answer me?”. The activity also expands vocabulary related to likes, dreams, feelings, and personal experiences. Furthermore, it encourages communicative participation through oral exchanges in pairs or groups, promoting the expression of opinions and preferences. The use of an authentic song introduces students to Hispanic culture in a dynamic, motivating, and meaningful way, developing linguistic and sociocultural skills in a real-world context.
