A1 exercise to practice introducing people

Are you ready to become a pro at introducing people in Spanish? Our interactive A1-level activity is designed to help you practice the art of presenting others effectively. This engaging exercise is divided into two parts, making it ideal for group or pair work.

Part 1: Student A Takes the Lead In this part of the activity, Student A will be provided with a set of characters, each with specific missing information. Your task as Student A is to complete the personal details of these characters. This includes their name, age, nationality, personality traits, languages spoken, and occupation.

Part 2: Student B’s Turn In the second part of the activity, Student B will receive another set of characters, also missing crucial information. Your role as Student B is to complete the missing details for these characters, just as Student A did in the first part.

Practice Makes Perfect The beauty of this exercise lies in the interaction between Student A and Student B. To obtain the missing information, you’ll need to engage in a conversation with your partner. This means asking questions like: ¿Cómo se llama? (What is their name?), ¿Cuántos años tiene? (How old are they?), ¿De dónde es? (Where are they from?), ¿Cómo es su carácter? (What is their personality like?), ¿Qué idiomas habla? (What languages do they speak?), and ¿En qué trabaja? (What is their job?).

By actively participating in this exercise, you’ll not only gain valuable practice in introducing others but also reinforce your ability to ask questions and engage in meaningful conversations in Spanish. It’s a dynamic and interactive way to hone your language skills while also getting to know your fellow learners better.

So, let’s dive into this exciting activity and master the art of introducing people in Spanish. With each question you ask and answer, you’ll become more confident in your language abilities and build stronger connections with your peers.
